Golf lessons in Grand County — Pole Creek, Grand Lake, Granby Ranch

Grand County plays four public-access mountain courses within about 25 minutes of each other: Pole Creek in Tabernash (27 holes, ~8,600 feet), Grand Elk in Granby, Granby Ranch, and Grand Lake Golf Course — among the highest 18-hole layouts in the country. We list instructors. We are not the pro shop.

Lessons are partner coaches, request-to-book. They'll meet you at the course you name, or tell you if that tee sheet is closed. Altitude changes ball flight. Anyone who pretends otherwise is selling a Front Range lesson on the wrong grass.

Junior clinics and a playing lesson are listed separately from a half-hour range block. Bring your clubs or say you need a rental set — we don't keep a demo fleet at the dump-trailer yard.

Season is snow-off to freeze. We will not book a January lesson on Pole Creek and 'see about the greens.'

Delivery notes

You go to the course. Instructors do not deliver. Confirm the tee or range window with the partner after the request is accepted.

Seasonal availability

Typically late May through October, weather and course open. Shoulder weeks fill with second-home owners. Book the aspen-weekend playing lesson early.
